The 2009 Harvey Fellows have been announced and are listed on the Harvey Fellows web site. Biographies of each Fellow will appear around the beginning of September.
Gregg Helvey ’06's movie, Kavi, won the gold medal at the Student Academy Awards on June 13. This means that Kavi is now qualified for competition in the 2010 Academy Awards for Short Live Action! Additional information, including Gregg's acceptance speech, is available here.
Mark Wistey '99 received a tenure-track position in electrical engineering at the University of Notre Dame, in South Bend, IN. His research will be on integrating new materials on silicon chips to bring lasers, sensors, and terahertz devices onto conventional integrated circuits.
